Privacy policy

When you send our estimate form, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, town or ZIP code, and, if you choose to give them, your email address, what's going on with your door, and any note. We also record which page you sent it from. When you call or email us, we have the details you share.

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and secure the site. We use Metricool to count visits: for each page you view, it receives the page's address, the page that linked you here, and the size of your browser window, along with the IP address and browser type that come with any web request. It doesn't use cookies. We also use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to learn how visitors use the site: the pages viewed, taps on our phone number, estimate requests sent, and the general area a visit comes from.

• To call or email you back, set up estimates and do the work you ask for.
• To keep records of the work we do for you.
• To run, secure and improve this website, and to understand which pages help people.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising networks.

Only the service providers that run the site for us: our website host (Vercel), the service that delivers estimate requests to our inbox by email (Resend), and the services that count our visits (Metricool and Google Analytics). They handle the information to provide those services. We may also share information when the law requires it.

The site itself doesn't use advertising cookies, and Metricool counts visits without cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies; you can block cookies in your browser or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Our site doesn't change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals, and we don't track you across other websites.

We keep estimate requests and job records as long as we need them to serve you and to keep normal business records, then delete them.

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling (302) 735-0046 or emailing Dalton@bluehengaragedoors.com.

This site is meant for adults arranging garage door work. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Delaware's Online Privacy and Protection Act asks websites that collect personal information from Delaware residents to post a policy like this one. If you have a question about it, contact us using the details above.

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
