Pike Creek homes: 1980s townhouse rows and single-family streets
About 82 percent of homes in the Pike Creek CDP were built in the 1980s and 1990s, and attached townhouses (about 42 percent) nearly match detached houses (about 49 percent), by Census estimates. Owners occupy about 87 percent of them. Limestone Hills and its sections, Mendenhall Village, The Ridge, Dennison Ridge, Walden, Winding Bridge and Wood Creek all sit inside the CDP line.
That age and layout drive most garage door decisions here. A door from 1985 or 1995 is likely due for springs, rollers, cables or an opener, and in a townhouse row it also has to look like its neighbors, so read your community's rules on design and color before you choose. On the single-family streets, an insulated Haas steel door is a sensible upgrade for an attached garage.
